About Matthew Lehman – Your Trusted Mammoth Lakes Real Estate Broker

Few people can say they truly grew up in Mammoth Lakes. Born in Los Angeles in 1969, Matthew Lehman’s first memories are of his family moving to Mammoth Lakes in 1972. He spent most of his childhood exploring the mountains in Mammoth Lakes before moving and attending high school in Encinitas, California. There, he earned a Congressional appointment to the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and a Secretary of the Navy appointment to the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis. He later earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate Studies from Marylhurst University in Oregon.

In 1992, Matthew returned to Encinitas to help grow his father’s appraisal firm, Bankers Appraisal, into one of the largest in the county. Though he enjoyed coastal life, the pull of the mountains brought him back to Mammoth Lakes in 1996. Since then, Matthew and his dedicated team have built one of the most respected appraisal firms and real estate brokerages in Mono and Inyo Counties.
