Mammoth: Real Estate Market

As we head into the 4th Quarter of 2017, it would be difficult to say the Mammoth Lakes real estate market is anything less than spectacular for 2017 year-to-date.  Most sectors of the real estate market are performing well with consistent increases in home and condominium prices.
 

Single Family Homes:

As of October 1, 2017, the single-family home market broke out of its less than stellar performance trend and is now demonstrating median year-to-date pricing 4% above 2016.  While this may not sound like a lot in comparison to the condominium market, it’s a strong recovery from the -10% median price observed at the beginning of the year. Condominiums : 

Condominiums are the largest sector of the Mammoth Lakes real estate market and provide an accurate depiction of market attitudes due to abundant sales data. The Condominium market is the shining star for real estate in 2017 with median prices up 19% for the year and a median condominium price of $327,750 as of October 1, 2017.
