Things to Do In Mammoth Lakes: Mammoth Rocks Taste of the Sierra
Mammoth Rocks Taste of the Sierra is one of Mammoth Lake’s signature music and food events. This August 22nd and 23rd will mark the 6th annual tribute to classic rock music from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. Here is a little Recap Video.

This event never fails to entertain. During the inaugural year, the Village at Mammoth was packed with family fans ranging from 5-85 years of age, listening to tributes perform everything from Neil Diamond to Boston. The second year was held on Canyon Blvd and a un-seasonal storm delivered snow in mid-August, but this didn’t deter fan from finishing the weekend off with a classic headliner performing Rolling Stones classics.

Friday August 22nd
4:00 pm – DJ Music
6:00 pm – Live Local Music
8:00 pm – Fireball
Saturday
DJ – 2:00 pm
4:00 pm – Petty Theft playing tribute music to Tom Petty
6:00 pm – Journey Revisited will be performing the greatest hits of the band Journey from 1978-1996.
